Michael Westhead has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Marine Science from Slippery Rock University. He worked for Mote Marine Laboratory on coral reef restoration and aquaculture projects in the Florida Keys and later taught at marine institutes in Florida and California. He currently teaches high school Science and Theology at Regina Luminis Academy in Berwyn, PA. In addition to teaching, he volunteers to teach catechism at his parish and is a contributor to the Daily Knight Catholic newspaper.
